DOES THE CURRICULUM/ MATERIAL HELPED YOU IN TEACHING? It
is an honor to use the curriculum with the theme “Bug Zone” because
it has helped us a lot in reaching out to children. First,
the material helped in bringing out the creativity of the teachers and
the children especially when they did the crafts. Second, it opened our
minds to appreciate the insects or bugs around us. Third, the material
is unique that it had drawn the attention of the kids to listen and
participate actively in all the centers all throughout the activity. In
the craft center, the material had provided the teachers choices on the
crafts which were appropriate for the different age groups. It also gave
information on the significance of each craft. In the music center, the
songs were lively and entertaining. The lyrics showed how God changes
everything. In addition, the minus one of the songs helped the teachers
teach the songs easily and it helped the children master the songs. Overall,
the material is so amazing and unique. We, as teachers, learned a lot
about the importance of insects and bugs.We also learned many things
from the curriculum which we can still use in our Sunday schools, like
the other crafts that we were not able to teach during the DVBS proper,
the songs, the stories etc. The children, on the other hand, had shown
great interest on the curriculum. This just proves that the material is
very effective. Everything is just so perfect! All
