Mixed Up Bible Verses

This is a fun game to teach the kids a bible verse. All you do is write each word of the bible verse on separate pieces of paper, and the bible verse location on one piece of paper. Place scotch tape or masking tape on the back of the pieces of paper by rolling the scotch tape up so that they will stick to a board. Place the pieces of paper on the board in the wrong order so that you can’t tell what the verse is.

There are several ways to play the game.

See who can tell you what the verse is. The first one to guess the verse wins (This is good for a small group of children)

Place the same verse mixed up on two separate boards then split the children into two groups, or the girls against the boys. Pick one person from each side to go to the board and you will time them as to which side get the verse in the right order first. They win the game. You can mix the verse again and them pick a different child from each group to do the same thing. The team that gets the most wins will win the game.

You can get one child to pick the first word, then someone else the second word until the whole verse is in the right order. For competition girls agaist the boys or team one and team two. Team one gets to pick the first word, then team two picks the second word and so on.
